About the Role

Quartet Engineers Corporation is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Houston team. You will work across geotechnical design, pavement engineering, and construction materials testing — leading projects from field analysis through final reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze construction materials (soils, concrete, asphalt, rebar, etc.) from field and lab results
  • Perform geotechnical design of foundations for various structures
  • Develop pavement designs and prepare comprehensive final reports
  • Propose and oversee geotechnical/pavement projects and construction materials testing (CMT) projects
  • Train and coordinate field and laboratory technicians
  • Manage project budgets, project set-ups, and invoicing

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a foreign equivalent
  • 1 year of relevant work experience

In lieu of work experience, 12 graduate-level credit hours in the following areas are acceptable:

  • Fundamentals of Geotechnical Engineering
  • Advanced Pavement Design & Management
  • Bituminous Materials & Mixtures
  • Pavement Management System
