Staff / Project Engineer

Kiran Bhandari Chhetri is a Staff Engineer with Quartet Engineer’s PLLC. With years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction material testing projects, he is responsible for engineering management of all construction material testing projects. Kiran is an E.I.T. and holds certificates in ACI Aggregate Technician-Level 1, ACI Concrete Field Technician Grade I, TxDOT SB 102 Certificate, TxDOT SB101 Certificate, PTI Inspector Certification, Radiation Safety Officer Training, APNGA Portable Nuclear Gauge Safety and HAZMAT Training, RSO, and Annual Refresher Training for Portable Nuclear Gauge. His experience includes supervising geotechnical field operations (drilling and sampling), earthwork inspection and testing, coordinating and supervising laboratory testing of soils and other construction materials, data reduction, shallow and deep foundation design recommendations, slope stability analysis, settlement analysis, seepage analysis, retaining wall design recommendations, rigid and flexible pavement design, overlay design, pavement condition survey, pavement maintenance and rehabilitation recommendations, and maintaining radiation safety regulations and regular inventories.
